Herbert Alliance
TMIC are proud to announce they’re official manufacturers and distributors of Herbert machinery in the UK and Ireland.
After months of discussion the MD’s put pen to paper in Berlin last month when they were at Fruit Logistica 2018. Mark invited John and Nigel to help on the Herbert stand and introduce the partnership to current and perspective customers.
We received positive feedback from the show with many enquires. Both parties are confident the alliance will be successful and can move forward together. The partnership will give TMIC a larger portfolio to offer customer’s and as many of our employees have years of experience designing, building and installing Herbert machinery we have no worries supporting the brand and growing its popularity in the UK and Ireland once again.
TMIC was formed by John Steward who gained his engineering experience from working at Herbert’s from the age of 20. John worked his way up the ladder to become well known in the Industry for his installation’s and project management. TMIC started as a machine installation company as the name suggests but as the demand for machinery increased due to the demise of Herbert’s, John soon found the company turning into a different animal and the manufacturing of conveyors for the food industry started.
Herbert has since been reformed in the Netherlands by Mark Verschuren and under the new name of Herbert Solutions Mark aims to continue growing the Herbert brand around the world. With a vast portfolio of well known reliable machinery for the food handling industry at their disposal it’s great to see Herbert pushing back into the market.
Enquires for the Herbert machinery were coming into John and with Mark keen on bringing Herbert back to the Forefront and lead the way in the machine handling industry It seemed the obvious move to work together and bring Herbert back where it belongs leading the industry with the best cleaning, grading, washing, sorting and tipping on the market along with being able to offer end of line, service and spares for new and old Herbert machinery.
With Herbert washers and de-stoners already in production and many other jobs in the pipeline the demand for Herbert machinery is definitely still alive and strong in the UK and Ireland. Both parties are looking forward to this new venture and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
First TMIC manufactured Herbert Washer's
Work has begun on TMIC’s first two Herbert washer and de-stoner’s, we are working with Herbert Solutions in the Netherlands as a manufacturer and distributor in the UK & Ireland allowing us to build the well known reliable Herbert machinery.
We’re proud to be able to offer complete Herbert food handling systems, many of our employees have 40+ years experience in manufacturing and installing Herbert machinery so the team know the product inside and out.
This partnership will mean that you can come to TMIC for any of the Herbert machinery. If you have Herbert machinery already we can also get the spares you need.
2017
2017 was full of new’s for TMIC and the stand out experience was perhaps going to BP2017 which is the biggest potato show in the UK. We learnt a lot about how to get the most out of the experience and will be looking to get involved with the show again next year.
We have grown a lot over the year with many new faces coming on board. There has been lots of investment to deal with the quick expansion as we added new vans and a truck to our fleet we also invested in a new website and we now have a social media presence so you can keep an eye on all things TMIC.
We proudly sponsored Adam Rooks earlier in the year as he took on the London Triathlon which he completed and did his family proud.
This year we will be sponsoring Jackie Catalano as she takes on the London Marathon. Jackie is determined to take on the challenge and has wanted to do so for a long time. Everyone at TMIC wishes her luck!
Fruit Logistica 2018
We will be heading to Fruit Logistica 2018 in Berlin on the 7th- 9th February. Where we will be on the same stand as Herbert Solutions, Hall 4.1/ Stand D-06. They will have representatives from trade to production present for you to discuss all aspects of the fruit & vegetable industry. Herbert Solutions will be showcasing the innovative Oculus 1000 so its a great opportunity to see the machine up close and have an industry expert discuss the models great features.
Newbies
So its been a busy couple of months for us here at TMIC and because we've been so busy we have recruited several new members to the team. We hired James Ellington as a TIG Welder in March, Ollie Potter as an Apprentice in April. The lads have settled in well with both James and Ollie currently onsite. We have hired Kevin Grief for this busy period of time and has been a great help getting the conveyors up and ready for our customers.
Install
We have been working closely with an engineering leader to install a variety of machines for major food companies in Europe. We continue a strong working relationship with them and are planning on several installation projects this year.
Triathalon (22.07.2017)
TMIC sponsored Adam Rooks this month as he took on the London Triathlon for his Dad. Adam completed the Triathlon in 3 hrs 17 minutes despite the horrendous weather and raised £520 for the charity Macmillan.
Modular Conveyors
TMIC have been working hard to design a conveyor that is easily adjustable for cleaning and maintenance. The team have spent time developing a conveyor to help customers save on cost and have a reliable easily adjustable conveyor. We at TMIC are proud to introduce our very own modular conveyors available to be made to any bespoke requirements and within 7 days.
We have devised a push adjuster that makes changing the size of the conveyors easier and time efficient, this limits the time your employees spend cleaning.
Did you say conveyors in 7 days?
With the new design the TMIC conveyors have we can get them put into production and ready for delivery within 7 days. They’re easy too assemble and made from stainless steel to last longer. As the parts for the conveyor are designed to be laser cut for quick assembly it has allowed TMIC to guarantee 7 day conveyors.
The main feature on the TMIC conveyor is the unique push adjuster which has been designed to allow easy maintenance and fast production. John Steward has expressed ‘I am excited he is at the design of the conveyors as they're made for speedy production and installed e?ciently'.
We have been very busy this month with installs across the United Kingdom and Europe. With the first batch of conveyors installed and running we’re looking to install a lot more in the near future.
If you choose TMIC you will get a conveyor that is reliable in its performance with a long life, versatile and is flexible to handle a range of products of all shapes and sizes.
